The Lovers card
can be interpreted as signifying romance, love,
passion, engagement and marriage. A new relationship
could be about to begin or a current one will
improve - a re-kindling of passion or even ex-
partners getting back together. This card also
indicates friendship.
The figures depicted
suggest innocence, youth and virginity before
it becomes poisoned by material desire. It also
suggests the fulfilment of desires.
This card can
also refer to making a choice or taking a decision
that may lead to a major crisis in a person' life.
By making the choice, one has to stick to it,
without allowing oneself to be affected by outside
influences. Therefore the choice should not be
made lightly.
This sixth card
of the Major Arcana represents wishes, desires,
motivation, selection and commitment.
