ARIES (Mar21/Apr20): If you can catch an Aries in then you’ve already done better than most! This sign of action likes to keep busy even when plonked in front of the telly. Hobbies range from macho collections on armoury and warfare to more passive pursuits like model-making those little plastic aircraft or boats ready to be painted in all sorts of camouflage colour. Lady Rams can keep active with D.I.Y. that put the menfolk to shame!
TAURUS (Apr21/May21): Meet Mr. and Mrs. Couch Potato! Sorry Taurus but you know that you’re quite content to spend your leisure time enjoying nibbles on the sofa! Whether it’s chocolate or a slap and tickle you’re easily pleased as long as the surroundings are comfortable. You hate to do anything where the ambience is unpleasant and are attracted to hobbies from landscape painting to indoor gardening that reflect your aesthetic nature.
GEMINI (May22/June21): Nimble fingers keep you fidgeting all day long so find something creative or cerebral to do and you’ll use your spare time in sparkling creativity. Crocheting to embroidery is superb for your mobile mitts, or perhaps you’re more inclined towards reading or even writing your own novel; that’d be novel! Seriously though once you’re bored you’re unbearable so keep busy!
CANCER (June22/July23): As home is where the heart is could be described as Cancer’s motto you’ll be happy as Larry stuck within your own four walls. But that could be your main problem, stuck! So use your leisure hours by exercising your mind or body in other areas by collecting recipes, stamps or antiques after all you are THE sign of memorabilia.
LEO (July24/Aug23): You always like to win even when you’re playing, so your hobby hours should contain lots of chances to beat the living daylights out of mates and family who dare to take you on at board or card games. From Monopoly to Scrabble you’ll organise your own mini-Olympics and challenge anyone who sets one foot inside your door to a round of whist, bridge or rummy, lummy!
VIRGO (Aug24/Sept23): Practical art is something to occupy your leisure time at home. From pressing wild flowers to doing something natty with card and crayons you’ll be perfectly happy making lots and lots of knick knacks to sell at the local crafts fair or to grace your living room. You’re a dab hand at dealing with anything requiring skill, detail or filling in fiddly bits. Calligraphy is VERY you, dear!
LIBRA (Sept23/Oct23): Like your fellow Venusians Taurus you’re not that bothered if you do nothing, but that would be such a waste wouldn’t it? You’re great entertainers, so entertain, invite folk into your home whether for coffee or mouthwatering meal and show off your style and presentation. Many of you are Botticelli artistes when it comes to wool, silk or raffia, get out your needle and create something pretty!
SCORPIO (Oct24/Nov22): Your main problem is you can get so obsessed about your hobby it can take over your life. So by all means enjoy what pleases you but don’t let it exclude what pays the bills! Do all the good things of life in your lounge from your own amateur wine tastings to deep conversation that reaches the parts other chat cannot reach! Board games such as Spycatcher or Cluedo enthral you.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov23/Dec21): You’ll enjoy yourself with a variety of games from Table Tennis and Snooker in the spare room, to Subbuteo or Escalado in the living room. You hate the thought of just sitting down so you’re all set to introduce your very own computer soccer league and become the Lineker of the lounge or Botham of the box-room - come to think of it both Gary and Ian are both Saggies too!
CAPRICORN (Dec22/Jan20): Have you ever thought how brilliant a craftsman you are? I bet you didn’t realise that locked in your fingers are skills that makes you a modelling maestro. From pottery to bonsai gardening or Doing It Yourself with a plank of wood you can make something super out of nothing in next to no-time. You hate waste and can prove it by creating a useful artifact from utter rubbish.
AQUARIUS (Jan21/Feb19): You want to surround yourself with all the hi-tech games and gadgets you can possibly lay your dexterous hands on. Even if you don’t know how all the buttons work at first, you’ll use your leisure in pleasurable pursuit of the micro-chip as you love to experiment. Lady Aquarians will be drawn to space age knitting or sewing machines where a masterpiece is made with just the flick of a switch!
PISCES (Feb20/Mar20): Gone Fishing! That’s the sign that’s hanging up in your lounge, for it’s not a piscatorial cliche to say that indoor aquariums will suit you Pisceans down to the ground. You’ll make quite a splash in your locale by collecting anything from the seashore, from shells to model boats you’ll enjoy dreaming away that your high-rise is really a villa perched on the med. Anything arty will harness your immense imagination.
